| SOBCO participated in the Iranian New Year's Festival, Nowruz which was held on March 14, 2005 in Beverly Hilton Hotel, in Beverly Hills. Roughly 2,000 people participated in the event. Persian food, and music was provided by the host, which was Iranian-America Parents Association. Several companies presented their goods and services. SOBCO had a booth and presented its exclusive rugs and kilims (flat weaves with no pile). Since the rugs were made with hand spun wool and vegetable dye and were nature and user friendly, they received a very well reception and welcome from the visitors. Sales was good and many good contacts were made. |
