Our sister-company, SOBHE TRADING
was established by late Mr. Ramezan Ali
Sobhe in Tehran in 1953 to do Persian
carpet business. From 1979, the sons who
were educated in the United States,
continued and expanded their family
business.
They opened up a branch (office &
warehouse) in 1985 in the Free Port of
Hamburg, Germany. Since many of the
customers liked to import their carpets
directly from Iran,Sobhe Trading transferred
all its activities to Tehran, in 1992.
Now, Sobhe Trading with more than fifty years of experience in an
area of 4000 m2 with several warehouses and fully computerized
system, is directly exporting all kinds of Persian carpets (including
exclusive Varamin Collection and many exclusive designs) to
different countries around the world. Competitive prices, special
services and door to door delivery, educational materials, and
CD's are among the packages that we offer.
To serve our customers better, we just opened up a new company named Sobco
International Ltd. and its showroom in Los Angeles, California.
We have been a true advocator of the return to traditions and using vegetable dyes
and hand-spun wool. Many of our rugs are environment and customer friendly. We
have tried to bridge the traditions and trends by using old designs with new sizes
and new color combinations. We have uncovered the past!
Most of our rugs and flat weaves are woven by our village and tribal ladies in their
home, while their children are in school.
